Morning on the Seine near Giverny — Fine Art

Morning on the Seine near Giverny opens with a stretch of water and a low bank seen from close to the river. Broad painted strokes of blue grey and green move across the picture and the eye follows the water toward the far shore. Empty space above the water holds the sky.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The matte surface lets the blue grey tones stay calm without shine under a lamp. The frame adds a solid edge around the water and the sky.

On a dining room wall near a warm lamp the painting of the river and the bank stays quiet. You notice the broad strokes of water and the pale sky when you step into the room.
