Moro II

Moro II - 1981 by Larry Zox uses hard edge shapes set in a flat colour field. Sharp geometric forms cut across the sheet. The style follows the post war American abstract movement. Larry Zox moved through hard edge painting and colour field work with clear lines and flat bands.

The product is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The ready to hang option sends it assembled. A matte surface keeps the flat colour bands soft and stops shine under a lamp.

On a dining room wall near the table, the sharp turns of the shapes catch the room light first. From the doorway the big colour turns show up, up close the small joins between the flat bands show.
