Mural 1943 1 — Fine Art

Mural 1943 1 by Jackson Pollock fills the picture with layered paint and quick marks. Broad gestures sweep across a dark field, with smaller drips and splashes scattered through the composition. The surface reads as a busy layer of action paint, not a single flat image.

This fine art print comes with a frame in white, wood, dark wood or black. The frame gives the picture a clean edge on the wall, so the busy paint edges do not disappear into the room.

It works on a dining room wall above a sideboard. From the table you see the big sweeps of paint first, and when you walk past you notice the smaller drips and splashes.
