My Room in Ajaccio 1889

A bedroom interior from Ajaccio appears in this fine art print. The scene shows a simple bed, a window and a painted wall in calm tones. Henri Matisse painted this room in a fauvist style with flat colour areas.

The white frame finish gives the image a clean edge on the wall. The frame holds the picture steady so the soft colour areas do not lose their shape.

Above a low bed the picture sits at eye level in a quiet bedroom. From the doorway the window and bed fill the view, and small brush marks show up near the wall.

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
