Myo — Fine Art

Myo by Cy Twombly rests on a plain ground where a soft band of tone runs across the picture. The band sits next to quieter areas, and the difference between them gives the page its shape. The marks feel drawn by hand rather than filled in.

This fine art print uses a white frame finish, and the clean frame edge meets the soft ground without a sharp contrast. The white finish keeps the lighter areas open. The frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall.

On a bedroom wall near the bed the band reads first, then the softer ground around it. From the doorway the whole shape sits low on the wall. The marks stay quiet until you stand closer.
