Olive Grove — Fine Art

Olive Grove brings together the cypress dark and sunlit ground that Vincent van Gogh kept returning to in his late work. Short painted lines build the grove and the open sky sits above it. Post impressionist painting shapes the whole view.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The frame finish can follow the room, so a light frame on a dark wall or a wood frame beside wooden furniture sits plainly against the painted surface. The matte paper keeps the green and blue tones soft without a shine under a lamp.

In a dining room, the dark trunks read from the table first. From the doorway the broad sky fills the wall. The narrow painted strokes only show when you stand a little closer.
