Olive Trees in a Mountain Landscape — Fine Art

Olive Trees in a Mountain Landscape shows trees growing on a slope against distant landforms. Paint strokes build the foliage and ground in layers of green and brown. The scene does not settle into a single flat plane, because the marks follow the shape of each leaf mass and hill.

This print is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel, so you get the image on paper with a solid seal at the rear. The frame gives the view a firm edge and keeps the sheet flat behind the glass.

It works on a landing wall where light falls from a side window. From the bottom of the stairs, the painted trees read as a row of darker notes above the window ledge.
