About this work

On a clear day, #1

A fine art print of On a clear day, #1 by Agnes Martin shows pale horizontal lines drawn across a quiet field.

The pencil line moves steadily left to right, kept even and light. Agnes Martin worked with thin graphite and small repeated marks on a calm ground.

The frame finish can follow the room: a light frame on a dark wall, a dark frame on a pale wall, or a wood frame beside wooden furniture. It sits on a narrow hallway wall above a shoe bench, where the day light hits the paper and the thin lines stay soft.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
