Opaque Harmony — Fine Art

Opaque Harmony by Richard Pousette-Dart shows layered colour areas that press against each other. A warm red band meets a cooler blue field, and the edge between them stays firm. The image reads as a balance of blocked tones rather than a drawn scene.

The fine art frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black. A white frame keeps the outer edge sharp without pulling attention from the colour bands. The clear edge lets the picture hold its own space on the wall.

In a bedroom, the blue field settles against the darker headboard and the red band catches the lamp light. From the foot of the bed you see the two tones side by side before the small surface marks come into view.
