Orange Relief with Blue places a flat orange plane beside a flat blue plane on a plain ground. The edge between them runs hard, and the two shapes carry equal weight. A wide open field stays around the colours. Ellsworth Kelly built much of his work this way, with large colour areas and clean outlines.

The frame in white, wood, dark wood or black lays a clear edge around the sheet. A light frame wood keeps the orange from spreading past its border, while a dark frame pulls the blue forward. The print is made for the fine art range.

A plain study wall above a desk lets the two colours hold the room. From a few steps back, the orange and blue sit next to each other, and the empty field around them stays calm.
