Oregon Landscape — Fine Art

Oregon Landscape by Childe Hassam reads as a stretch of land and sky handled in the loose painted way he used outdoors. The colours sit in broad planes, and the view stays open. From across the hall you take in the big shapes first. Step to the wall and the painted strokes become clear.

The fine art print arrives ready to hang with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte paper keeps the painted tones even under a lamp, so the broad strokes do not pick up shine.

It works on a bedroom wall where the morning light comes low. You notice the wide ground tones first, then the small painted marks near the top when you stand close.
