About this work

Oxidation Painting

Oxidation Painting by Andy Warhol shows lines made by copper and urine on canvas. The marks run in long rows with colours that shift from green to orange.

This method comes from the artist practice of using unusual materials and repeated images. The fine art print arrives ready to hang with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw.

That keeps the print level without a separate frame. From a few steps back the rows read as long colour bands. Up close the surface shows the uneven marks left by the process.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.
Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
