Pacific Breeze 2 — Fine Art

Pacific Breeze 2 shows a strip of blue water meeting a pale sky along a clean horizon. The artist Hiroshi Nagai paints the surface in broad colour blocks with even tone. The picture stays low in contrast, so the blue and white read as quiet rather than sharp.

The fine art print uses matte paper, so the blue stays soft and there is no shine under a lamp. A light frame on a dark wall lets the pale sky sit forward, while a dark frame on a pale wall keeps the horizon steady.

It works above a long sofa on a west wall. Late sun washes the top edge, and from the doorway you see the blue band first, then the thin line of the horizon.
