Painting with Two Balls Ulae 87 — Fine Art

Painting with Two Balls Ulae 87 shows two round forms sitting on a plain ground. The eye lands on the circles first, then rests on the open space around them. Jasper Johns set the shapes with a steady hand, leaving room between them so the picture does not feel crowded. A fine art print keeps that open layout clear.

The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black. A white frame edge sits lightly against the circles and does not pull focus from the painted forms. The clear edge gives the image a firm line on the wall.

It fits a hallway with a single bulb overhead. From the far end you read the two circles as simple shapes. Step closer and the printed surface shows a steady grain under the light.
