Palm Tree Sketch — Fine Art

A single palm tree stands on a ground line drawn in black lines on a pale sheet. The trunk rises with short side branches and the leaves spread out above. Palm Tree Sketch shows the tree in a measured line drawing style. The work follows the practice of MC Escher, who often studied plants and natural forms with careful strokes.

The print comes as a fine art print on matte paper, so the black lines stay sharp without shine. A light frame on a dark wall lets the pale ground hold the tree in view. A dark frame on a pale wall makes the trunk stand out.

It hangs on the dining room wall above the sideboard. From the table you see the trunk line and the leaf shapes, and the brief strokes at the branch ends.
