Passage-‚rosion — Fine Art

Passage-‚rosion by Fernand Leduc places a narrow band of dark tone beside a lighter area on the paper. The contrast runs across the picture and keeps the eye moving from one side to the other.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The black frame gives Passage-‚rosion a clean line around the image. That edge keeps the dark tone from blending into the wall and sets the lighter side apart. The white frame version does the same work with a softer line.

On a wall at eye level the dark band reads first, then the lighter field opens up beside it. From a doorway the contrast stays clear even when the room is dim. Up close the small shifts between the two tones are easy to follow.
