Pasture 1958 — Fine Art

Pasture 1958 by Anni Albers uses long lines of black ink across a pale ground. The bands run near the top and leave the lower half open. You notice the steady rhythm first, then the thin gaps between each mark.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The paper is matte, so the black lines stay flat and the pale ground does not shine under a lamp. A light frame on a dark wall lets the empty lower space stay open.

In a hallway with pale paint, the lines run across the upper part of the sheet and the lower field stays quiet. From the door you read the long bands first, then the thin spaces between them.
