Persian Artifact with Faience Decoration

Faience tiles with blue and green patterns sit on a plain surface in Persian Artifact with Faience Decoration. Quick strokes of paint hold the small shapes together. The brushwork of John Singer Sargent shows a study of a decorative object, painted in a loose way.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte paper does not shine under a lamp, so the blue and green stay soft.

It fits well above a desk in a study. From the door you see the tile shapes, and from the chair you see the small paint strokes. The room stays calm with the blue tones on the wall.
