Phenomena Intervening Mantle - 2006 shows a broad field of colour with thin lines drifting through it. The eye settles on the middle bands where the paint thins and gathers.

Empty space sits around the edges. Paul Jenkins built these works by pouring and tilting fluid paint. The fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel and arrives assembled when the ready to hang option is used.

The matte paper holds the soft colour without shine. Set it on a dining room wall near the table. From the doorway the broad bands read as one shape, and the thin lines show up when you stand closer.
