Pier Piet 1974 — Fine Art

The title Pier Piet 1974 points to a year and a pair of names.

Alighiero Boetti often built works from text and systematic marks on a plain field. This fine art print keeps that plain ground clear and lets the written elements stay separate.

The white frame gives the sheet a clean border, so the marks sit inside a defined space without a busy surround. You notice the letters and the open field first when you stand in the kitchen, looking at the wall near the table.
