Possum Dreaming — Fine Art

Possum Dreaming - 1981 brings a single story line across the sheet in a soft earth tone field. The line curves and loops through small painted dots that follow its path.

This fine art print carries the picture in a white frame that gives the sheet a clean border on the wall. The white edge does not compete with the earth colours. It keeps the line and dots in view without drawing the eye away from the path itself.

It fits a narrow hall between a coat rack and a light switch. From the front door you notice the long curve first, and from the landing you see the dots as a soft texture. The picture reads simply at that distance and stays quiet there.
