Promise of Spring

Promise of Spring - 1930 Canada shows a Canadian landscape in the style of the Group of Seven. A tree stands on a snow covered slope under a clear sky. The paint is laid in flat sweeps with a steady hand.

The fine art paper holds the pale blues and soft greens without shine. A white frame gives the picture a clean edge on the wall. The frame keeps the colour range quiet and readable from a doorway.

It fits a kitchen wall above the sink. From the counter you notice the tree trunk and the snow line. The room stays practical and the picture does not call for attention.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
