Purple Petunia — Fine Art

Purple Petunia by Georgia OKeeffe shows a flower form set against a plain ground. Soft purple tones sit close to the pale field, and the petal lines read as simple curves. The picture stays quiet and close to one subject.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The frame finishes are white, wood, dark wood and black, and the edge gives the image a clear line on the wall. A black frame keeps the purple tones separate from the wall, while a white one lets the petals sit into the room.

It hangs in a reading corner near a desk lamp. You notice the purple shapes first, then the small changes in tone along the petal lines. The book shelf below stays simple.
