Red Diagonal

A single red band runs from corner to corner on a white field in Red Diagonal by Ellsworth Kelly. The stripe stays one tone across the paper. Ellsworth Kelly made hard edged colour studies that treat a shape as a clean object. The work belongs to that colour field practice.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. The frame finishes in white, wood, dark wood or black. A white finish keeps the red stripe open at the edge. A black finish gives the band a firm border. The frame sets a clear line around the print.

Hang it in a dining room on the wall beside the table. The red line points toward the far corner. You read the band as one shape before you notice the room around it.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
