About this work
Répartition régulière de carrés - 1971 shows a set of squares laid out in a steady pattern. The squares repeat across the sheet with even spacing between each one. Francois Morellet worked with rules and measured marks, so the layout feels planned rather than drawn freehand.
This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The print itself is a flat sheet that goes onto the wall as it is.
It fits a hallway wall beside a coat rack, where the even spacing reads clearly from the stairs. You notice the repetition of the squares as you pass, and the metal hanger keeps the sheet level without a frame.
