Santa Barbara Mountains — Fine Art

Santa Barbara Mountains by Eyvind Earle shows a ridge of dry hills rising against a pale sky. The land is built from warm brown and ochre bands that sit one above the other. A cool blue band rests along the top edge.

The fine art print is set in a frame with a back panel and arrives ready to hang. The matte surface keeps the brown tones soft and stops glare from a lamp. You see the clear outlines of the trees from across the room and the flat colour bands up close.

It fits above a plain sofa on a low wall where the window light comes from the side. From the door you catch the long line of the ridge. Up close the viewer notices the even tone of each hill band.
