Sienna — Fine Art

Sienna - 1979 by Clarence Holbrook Carter places a warm tone across the surface, with darker shapes laid over a softer ground. The forms sit close together and leave a little space between them. The marks feel steady and deliberate.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. A white frame gives this image a clean line on the wall. The white edge sits against the warm ground without pulling the eye away. You notice the frame first, then the tone of the painting.

On a narrow hallway wall the warm tone stays readable from the door. From the kitchen doorway the darker shapes step forward and the ground holds quiet. The picture keeps its own space there.
