Still life with a basket of apples — Fine Art

Still life with a basket of apples shows a woven basket holding round fruit, with apples painted in reds and yellows on a simple background. Vincent van Gogh lays down short paint strokes in the way he often worked, building the picture from small marks.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The white frame gives the picture a clean edge on the wall, while the wood frame keeps a warmer line against the reds. Both finishes hold the image in place and make the basket and fruit read as a single shape on the wall.

It fits a kitchen wall above the sink, where the morning light lands on the apples. From the doorway you notice the basket shape first, then the paint marks as you pass by.
