Still Life with Fruit Bowl 1918 — Fine Art

Still Life with Fruit Bowl 1918 shows a bowl of fruit set on a table, built from clear blocks of colour and soft outlines. The picture belongs to the cubist still life tradition, where ordinary objects are broken into planes and reassembled.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The frame is available in white, wood, dark wood and black. A white frame keeps the colour planes clear and gives the bowl a clean line against the wall.

This print works on a hallway wall beside a coat hook and a narrow shelf. From the mat at the end of the hall you notice the fruit shapes and the flat colour blocks. Standing a little closer you see how the outlines hold the forms together.
