Still Life with Goblet — Fine Art

Still Life with Goblet by Juan Gris puts a goblet on a table. The scene uses clear drawn outlines and solid colour blocks.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. This belongs to the cubist period and follows the practice of Juan Gris, who painted everyday objects in broken planes. The metal hanger on the back fits straight onto a nail or screw. The picture goes up on the wall without a separate frame.

You see the goblet shape first, then the edges of the planes around it. It works in a dining room. From the table you notice the goblet and the flat colour blocks, and from the door you see the whole arrangement on the wall.
