Still Life with Scabiosa and Ranunculus — Fine Art

A bunch of scabiosa and ranunculus flowers sits in a simple vase, painted with short thick strokes. The petals hold pink and white tones against a plain ground. This fine art print keeps those brush marks clear. The dark wood frame sits on a pale wall near a low chair, so the flower shapes read well from the seat. You notice the small petals when you pass by.

The fine art print uses a matte paper so the paint strokes stay soft and there is no shine under a lamp. A light frame on a dark wall makes the flower colours stand out without glare.

In a bedroom, the picture hangs above the dresser. The pink petals catch the morning light coming through the window. The vase shape reads clearly from the bed.
