Still Life with Strawberries — Fine Art

Still Life with Strawberries shows a bowl of red fruit on a table with broken colour touches. The artist worked in loose oil strokes during the late nineteenth century. This fine art print keeps the berry red and the surrounding tones clear. You see the paint handling in the background.

The paper is matte, so the red does not reflect under a lamp. A light frame sits on a dark wall, or a wood frame beside timber furniture. You place this fine art print at the height of the fruit bowl.

It hangs in a dining room beside a white sideboard. From the doorway you notice the red fruit before the pale background. The room stays calm and the painting holds its own.
