Still Life with Watermelon 1

Still Life with Watermelon 1 shows a heavy fruit resting on a table. The painted form is round and full, with a thick rind and a dark green skin. The red inside fills the lower part of the picture. Fernando Botero paints the fruit in his usual solid style.

This fine art print comes with a frame in white, wood, dark wood or black. The frame edge sets the fruit against the wall. Pick a finish that matches the room you plan to put it in.

It hangs in a kitchen above the counter. From the doorway you notice the round shape first. Closer up you see the painted rind and the colour inside the fruit.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
