About this work
Stones
A cluster of rocks lies scattered on the forest floor. In Stones, Ivan Shishkin invites us to consider the quiet beauty of nature's still life. The scene is devoid of movement, yet full of texture and detail, from the rough surfaces of the stones to the soft moss that creeps around them.
Shishkin's mastery of light and shadow is evident in the way the stones seem to emerge from the earth, their forms solid and unyielding. The muted palette of greens, grays, and browns creates a sense of tranquility, as if time itself has paused to admire the scene. The artist's precise brushwork captures the intricate details of the forest floor, from the delicate ferns to the rough bark of the trees in the background.
This poster brings a sense of calm and contemplation to any space, perfect for a study or a quiet corner where one can reflect.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 3 to 6 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch.
