Strates solaires

Strates solaires shows bands of warm colour laid next to one another on a clear ground. Fernand Leduc worked with flat colour and simple outlines in his pictorial abstraction practice. The shapes sit in a steady rhythm and the edges stay clean.

This fine art print sits set in a frame with a back panel. The paper keeps the colour bands soft instead of bright, which suits the quiet layout of Strates solaires. When the ready to hang option is used, the frame arrives assembled.

On a bedroom wall near a low bedside lamp, the warm bands read as a simple pattern before the light goes off. At the foot of the bed you notice the space between the bands more than the colours themselves.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
