Strolling - 2008 United States shows a standing figure on a plain field. The body sits slightly off centre, with a quiet space around it. A few pencil lines trace the outline, and the rest of the page stays open. Will Barnet worked with drawn figures and kept the tones close in value.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame is needed. The matte paper keeps the soft pencil tones from shining in a lamp.

It fits well on the wall at the end of a narrow hallway near the front door. From there you see the figure first, then the empty space beside it, and the doorway stays open.
