Study for Low Water

Study for Low Water - Knights Flowage - 1980 shows bands of land and a low stretch of water tucked among trees. The eye settles on the flat middle before moving to the darker tree line along the top.

Neil Welliver painted the land as simple colour bands. The fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel and arrives ready to hang when that option is chosen.

The matte paper keeps the soft greens and greys without shine. It fits a hallway wall where the long view reaches the horizontal bands. Up close the paint strokes show their direction.
