Study in Colour No. 1 Woimant Staël 93 — Fine Art

Study in Colour No. 1 Woimant Staël 93 - Art Informel by Nicolas de Stael puts blocks of colour across the sheet. Thick painted strokes sit next to each other, with the tones shifting from one block to the next. The mark of each stroke stays visible against the ground.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. The frame finish is white, so the painted blocks read as separate fields without a dark border cutting them. A clear edge on the wall keeps the blocks from spreading past the sheet.

You can place it above the desk in a study. From the chair the blocks form a row of tones. From the doorway the white frame keeps the painted surface in view. The study stays read as colour patches on a sheet.
