Succession 1935

Succession 1935 by Wassily Kandinsky opens on a spread of small coloured shapes set over a light field. The eye moves along the marks from one side to the other. The shapes sit close together and leave some open space around them.

The fine art frame comes in a white finish, and it gives the picture a clean line on the wall. That white edge sits against the soft tones in the print and keeps the shapes from losing their outline.
