Superficie rossa

Superficie rossa - 2006 shows a red field worked by hand across the paper.

Enrico Castellani pressed and lifted the surface to leave a soft grain inside the tone. The fine art print carries that same pressed feel on matte paper, so the red stays even and does not catch the light.

Hang it on a pale wall in a bedroom, a little above the bed rail. From the pillow you see the red field, and the quiet grain shows when you sit up.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
