Syd Mead by Syd Mead — Fine Art

Syd Mead opens with a wide field of pale grey and a row of sharp drawn lines that step down across the sheet. The viewer finds the eye at the upper left corner, then follows the hard edges toward a darker band near the lower right.

The object is a fine art print set in a frame, with a back panel. You get a ready to hang print when the assembled option is chosen. The matte surface keeps the bright colour blocks soft and stops a lamp from shining on the drawn lines.

It sits on a study room wall above a wooden desk. From the doorway you see the big bands first, then the small pencil marks when you step closer.
