Tableau I

Tableau I by Piet Mondrian breaks the picture into flat colour planes and black lines. The artist used these straight edges and active colours in his later work. You see the grid set against the blocks of pigment.

This product is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. It arrives assembled when you choose ready to hang. The matte surface keeps the colours from shining under a lamp.

In a study, the print sits on a side wall away from the desk. You notice the black lines first, then the colour blocks. At night the room stays calm with one lamp on.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
