TARGET WITH PLASTER CASTS UNIVERSAL LIMITED ART EDITIONS 208 — Framed Poster

A striking arrangement of plaster casts set against a target motif defines this Jasper Johns piece. The artwork merges everyday objects with symbolic imagery, creating a visually intriguing composition that challenges perception.

The composition is structured around a central target, surrounded by plaster casts of body parts. The color palette is dominated by muted earth tones, punctuated by the stark white of the plaster casts and the bold red, blue, and yellow of the target. The texture appears rough and tactile, adding a sense of depth and dimension to the piece. The spatial arrangement draws the eye towards the center, creating a focal point that is both engaging and thought-provoking. The contrast between the organic forms of the plaster casts and the geometric precision of the target adds a dynamic tension to the artwork.
