About this work
Territory 1957 presents a painted field where two tones meet without blending. The upper part holds a flat blue, the lower part carries a warm grey. A thin line divides them and gives the surface a calm, measured feel. The division reads like a horizon seen from a distance.
This fine art print arrives ready to hang. A metal hanger is fitted to the back and goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame is needed. The paper stays matte, so the blue and grey hold their own value without shining under a lamp.
It works on a bedroom wall above a plain headboard. From the bed you see the two tones settle across the top half of the wall, and the line keeps its edge even at that distance.
