The Alpilles with Olive Trees in the Foreground — Fine Art

Hills roll in rows toward the horizon, with a band of olive trees standing in front. The Alpilles with Olive Trees in the Foreground follows the line of the land with quick thick strokes. Green leaves sit above short trunks, and the paint carries the speed of the hand.

The fine art print sits on the wall where the room light falls across it. A light frame on a dark wall lets the green paint read clearly, and a wood frame beside wooden furniture blends into the room.

In a study, the hill shapes meet your eye first, then the short green strokes come into view. On a side wall near a desk, the olive trees stand apart from the hills, and the light from a lamp moves across the paint.
