The chestnut tree in blossom

The chestnut tree in blossom by Frantisek Kupka shows a tree trunk rising from near the bottom edge with branches spreading toward the top.

The trunk carries darker marks against a lighter field, and the open space around it keeps the picture quiet. The metal hanger on the back lets you put this fine art piece on a nail without finding a frame first.

You can hang it in a narrow hallway where the trunk leads the eye upward beside a coat hook. From the turning point you notice the light branches against the empty upper area.
