The Cosmorama IV

The Cosmorama IV by Jean Dubuffet fills the sheet with painted bars and small signs that seem to move side to side. The marks sit close together, leaving narrow spaces between them. A few spots of white break up the grey ground near the edge.

Jean Dubuffet often used thick paint and rough surfaces in his work. The fine art print keeps that rough look, and the black frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall.

It works above a kitchen sink. From the table you see the painted bars across the top, and the black frame lines the room.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
