The Desert

The Desert keeps a wide plain open on the sheet, with the eye resting on the empty centre before drifting to the thin lines at the edges. Agnes Martin builds this quiet space with pale colour and faint pencil marks, leaving most of the surface clear.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The picture arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy.

It works above a wide console where you stand back from the wall. From that distance the big empty band reads first, then the thin horizontal lines step in. Up close you see the faint pencil work on the surface.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
