About this work
The End 40 2003 by Edward Ruscha shows a painted word set in a flat band of tone. The letters run left to right. The background stays even and the text carries the weight. A single line of lettering holds the frame without extra marks.
The print is a fine art piece with a metal hanger fitted to the back. It goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy and the text stays readable on the wall.
It fits a study wall above the desk. You see the words first, then the quiet ground behind them. The metal hanger keeps it level on the wall.
