The English Yacht 1906

The English Yacht 1906 sets a boat shape against a clear sheet of water. The eye meets the hull first, then drifts up the mast to the open sky. Raoul Dufy keeps the ground wide and leaves most of the sheet quiet.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The sheet arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. For this image, the flat sheet sits flush on the nail and the boat line reads clean without a frame edge.
